USDF Univ - Improving Your Judging Eye & Showing Skills : Austin Dressage Unlimited is hosting a Dressage Continuing Education program which is approved for CE credits by the USDF, and is also approved for credit with USDF University . In addition to being designed to further the education of recognized judges and USDF “L” Graduates, the program will also be directed towards auditors, who will learn how to improve their dressage test performances and scores. This educational session is part of the USDF program “Upgrade Your Judging Eye Part I”. The classroom lecture topics will include: Judging Methodology, Using the Training Scale for Judging, and Focusing on Basics in Judging. Please see attached flyer for more information.

Gary has been a USEF judge for more than 25 yrs, and is 1 of only 4 International “O” Dressage Judges in the U.S. As an FEI judge, he has officiated at Pan American Games, CHIO Aachen, FEI World Cup Finals, FEI European Championships, and the 2008 Beijing Olympics. As a dressage rider, Gary was a member of the USET, representing the U.S. in competitions throughout Europe . He and his mare “Suna” won a Team Silver Medal at CHIO Rotterdam in 1993 and a Team Bronze at the 1994 FEI World Championships at The Hague , Netherlands .

Hosted by Austin Dressage Unlimited, with sponsorship by Houston Dressage Society, Alamo Dressage Association, and The Dressage Foundation’s Edgar Hotz Judges Endowment Fund.

Judge Participants: 2-Day program: $80 (ADU/HDS/ADA members $75 if paid by Feb 1)
Auditors: 2-Day attendance: $50 (ADU/HDS/ADA members $40 if paid by Feb 1)
1-Day attendance: $35 (ADU/HDS/ADA members $30 if paid by Feb 1)
